Friends of the University of Vienna, Inc. (“Friends of UV,” “we,” or “us”) is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and as a public charity under Sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).

Friends of the University of Vienna, Inc. is the data controller for personal information collected in connection with the Events. We operate independently as a U.S. nonprofit organization. Our board of directors exercises full discretion and oversight over how personal data collected through our activities is used.

We may collect the following personal information when make a contribution to Friends of the University of Vienna, Inc.
- Name and contact information (email address, mailing address, phone number)
- Donation history and philanthropic interests (where applicable)
- Payment information for processing donations (credit card or bank account data), handled only by secure payment processors
